Erika graduated from Pitt State in 2019 with her Family and Consumer Sciences Education degree and began teaching high school. While in her fourth year of teaching, she decided to go back to school to pursue her passion of becoming a therapist. Her favorite part about teaching is building relationships with students/families and being a safe space for each student who walks into her classroom. Erika is in her second year of KU’s MSW program and is excited to join The Layne Project!
