Crystal attended Junior college where she played volleyball and then on to K-State to focus on her studies, where she changed her mind about her degree umpteenth times unsure of what she wanted to do when she grew up. Leaving college after her Jr year to get married (now divorced) and have her daughter Kamryn (who is now nearly 22 years old). After 17 years of raising Kamryn all by herself, Crystal decided to return to K-State to complete her degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences graduating with her Bachelors in 2018. Now she is in her 2nd year of the MSW program at KU. Crystal has a heart to serve vulnerable and underserved populations, being a builder of people, a builder of relationships, and a builder of environments. She is excited to have joined the Layne Project!
