Quisha Mitchell graduated from the University of Kansas with her bachelor’s degree in social work in May 2010. She started her career as a student service coordinator with a small non-profit, working with students in the high setting as their case manager. Quisha later returned to school to pursue her master’s degree in social work at the University of Kansas City-Missouri graduating in May 2013. Quisha worked in the hospital setting for several years before deciding to change settings and she has been an elementary school social worker for the last six years. During all this Quisha pursued her clinical hours to become a clinical social worker; she took and passed the clinical test in June 2020. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and journaling.
